Image Toolkit is a free online collection of image and PDF tools for everyday tasks — resizing a photo for a form, compressing an image to an exact KB limit, converting between formats, cropping a profile picture, merging PDF files and much more. It works directly in your web browser on desktop and mobile. There is no app to install, no account to create and no watermark on your results.
We built this site because most “free” online tools ask you to upload private files to unknown servers, add watermarks, or hit you with a paywall after one use. Image Toolkit takes a different approach: wherever technically possible, your files are processed on your own device and never leave your browser.
Our mission
Our mission is simple: make everyday file tasks simple, fast and private. A student should be able to compress a document photo to 100 KB for a government portal in a few seconds. A job applicant should be able to resize a passport photo without installing Photoshop. A small business should be able to merge invoices into one PDF without paying for software.
We believe basic file tools should be available to everyone, on any device, without an account and without hidden limits.

Privacy by design
Privacy is not an afterthought here — it is the way the tools are built. When you select a file, it is read directly by your browser using standard web technologies such as the File API, Canvas and WebAssembly. The processing happens on your device, and the result is saved back to your device. Your images and PDFs are not uploaded to our servers, are not stored by us and are not shared with anyone.
You do not need an account, an email address or a phone number to use any tool. We do not ask for personal details before you can download your result.
In short: your files stay on your device. The only data we receive is standard technical information such as page visits and, when ads are shown, cookie-based advertising data described in our Privacy Policy.
Who uses Image Toolkit
- Students and job applicants who need photos and documents under a strict size limit.
- Government form applicants who need exact pixel dimensions or 20–100 KB uploads.
- Office teams that merge, split and compress PDF files every day.
- Photographers and designers who need quick conversions and crops.
- Online sellers preparing product photos for marketplaces.
- Developers who need favicons, ICO files or quick image checks.
Why is it free?
Image Toolkit is supported by advertising. That is why you may see ads on some pages. Every tool is free to use right now — there is no subscription, no locked feature and no payment. We do not watermark your files, we do not reduce quality on purpose to make you pay, and we do not force you to create an account before downloading.
Our promise
- No watermarks on your results.
- No forced sign-up, no email wall.
- No artificial daily limits on the number of files.
- Honest results — if a file cannot shrink further without losing too much quality, we tell you instead of pretending.
- Your files remain yours. You keep full rights to everything you process.
Technology
The site is built with standard web technologies and runs in modern browsers such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. Image processing uses the HTML5 Canvas API, PDF handling uses open-source JavaScript libraries, and selected formats are supported through WebAssembly. Pages are lightweight so the tools also work on modest phones and slow connections.
